We felt that there was a gap for this in the local area and we could benefit both the business and the wider community. Greenspan came across as by far the sharpest during the research and tender process. We would love to continue and add more development in time, it will depend on the success of this. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Greenspan. From our initial brief through to completion Greenspan has held our hand through the process making our adventure golf journey as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. 

From our first meeting and brainstorming session, Greenspan grasped immediately the direction, look, and feel that we wanted to take with our adventure golf. They then brought our ideas to life with the most magical designs, imagery, and ideas- in fact they nailed it from day one!  

We are thrilled with the quality, attention to detail, and materials used to create Mad Hatter’s Adventure Golf. The Greenspan team, from designers, creators, builders, painters, and landscapers are all passionate about the theme and creating a course of fantasy and fun. Each hole tells the story of Alice in Wonderland and visitors get to encounter wonderful wooden carvings of Lewis Carroll’s iconic characters and walk through towering mushrooms and winding streams. Each hole is a work of art, providing a visual feast for all our eyes. 

We were working on quite a tight timescale to deliver the adventure golf as we wanted to open for the start of the school summer holidays. However, Greenspan felt they could deliver the project on time, and they have. They’re contractors worked hard, including several weekends to keep the project on track. All third-party contractors have been very professional and helpful.

Greenspan was brilliant from day one, and to see how the project came to life has really surpassed my expectations. The whole course blends in so well with the surrounding environments of Fairhaven lake and will complement the restoration project really well.

The metal slides, swings, wooden playhouses and ramps supplied and installed by Greenspan at Avon Heath Country Park are still looking great. Greenspan Projects submitted a competitive tender for the development of the accessible play area at Royal Victoria Country Park based on sketch proposals compiled by the Hampshire county Council, Property Services, Landscape group. They went on to complete the detail design and implementation of the play area working closely with the project client team throughout. They were flexible in their approach and proactive in ensuring that the best facility could be provided for the available funding. The project has exceeded expectations in terms of accessibility for children with a range of abilities and has proved to be a great success with the public.

Following a hugely successful artificial grass installation, Greenspan have been our chosen contractor for further projects developing our outdoor areas. We love the personal service which we receive and the help and advice which has turned our ideas and inspirations into finished projects. Working within a school environment does introduce some unique challenges but with great communication, flexibility and a good understanding of the nature of schools, these are quickly overcome. The contractors that we have had on site have been extremely hardworking, polite and a real pleasure to deal with and we have been delighted with the final product.

We are very happy with the work completed by Greenspan on the heating and lighting for the Giraffe House at Marwell Zoo. Both Greenspan and their subcontractors were very flexible when working within animal areas where moving the animals in and out cannot have exact timing. The heating and lighting have been commissioned and have made a vast improvement to both animal welfare and the guest experience. They worked in a safe manner and were good at communicating progress with Marwell. We would recommend them for similar works and will continue to procure their services in other areas of the park.

Greenspan have demonstrated a real ability to coordinate both the pre-visualisation and construction of complex projects to a defined budget… allowing us to get a clear understanding of what the eventual product would look like and security that the concepts could be afforded at an early stage. Their project management and on-site teams are especially diligent and worked hard to satisfy our requirements.

Dear Rod, Now that the garden at Whiteley is complete I would like to take a moment to share with you all at Greenspan exactly what the experience has meant to me and my team at Kiddi Caru Whiteley. The prospect of receiving a budget to work on the nursery garden began with such excitement however this quickly turned to frustration as I met with company after company who failed to see what I was trying to create. That was until you came to see me. Wishing to create a truly bespoke outdoor environment that would cater for all children three months to five years I wanted something very different to what I was seeing in the playground equipment catalogues I was being shown. From our first meeting when I began talking of zoning off areas, creating hidden woodland environments, opportunity for mark making, transporting, cause and effect, gradient and levels of play I felt listened to for the first time. Rather than being put off by the challenge you appeared inspired and as excited by it as I was. During the design phase of the project you worked with me to create something which on paper looked very special, especially as the A1 2D and later 3D drawings arrived. These enabled me to create a wonderful display which got the parents, children and staff really involved. As the project team arrived on site and the work began I was equally impressed by everyone involved in the project. I was consulted on every area of the work to ensure what I got was exactly what I had in mind with the team working with me to create the intricate details that make the garden so special. The team were always happy to stop and talk to inquisitive children, explaining what they were doing; I was even asked if they could be named our Employee of the Month! The work and the materials used have been of an extremely high quality, even when sourcing them involved foreign travel! I would have no hesitation encouraging anyone looking to create something special to use Greenspan. In fact having done just that within my own organisation I have since had the opportunity to work with you on a number of other nursery gardens and have seen first hand your commitment and enthusiasm to a multisite project. Thank you Rod to you and your team; we are thrilled with the space you have helped to create and have enjoyed every element of the experience – I only wish I had another project to work with you on!

Rod, I just wanted to let you know how delighted the children and parents are with the new garden here in Cardiff – we have had a lot of very positive comments from parents and the children love the water pump and sand pit especially! I also wanted to thank Dave, Mike and Perry for their hard work last week – they were fantastic! We have over the years had a lot of different contractors working with the nursery but we have never had a group as accommodating as yours. Nothing was too much trouble for them considering the amount they had to do in a short time, they were still happy for the children to see the digger they were using and talk to the children about what they were doing in the garden. They were courteous and professional at all times and became part of the team for the time they were with us. I just wanted to give some positive feedback to you about them and please pass on our thanks to them as well.

I just want to let you know that we have been very pleased with the team you have sent to Chessington over the past few weeks, they’ve fitted in well with our own team here. They have been very professional, worked hard, carried out all they’ve been asked to do and produced great results during this busy time for us. I am writing to express our thanks for the work that has been put into the planning and installation of the new Beaulieu Village Playground. The project commenced some two years ago and since that time we have had many different problems which have meant that we have been unable to proceed. At all times Greenspan were helpful and patient when events overtook us. The site changed at least four times and new plans had to be drawn up. Our eventual plan is well devised and attractive and has become a great focal point for the village. The quality of the equipment is excellent and completely suitable for the rural area in which it has been sited. The installation staff were always able to accommodate the small changes that needed to be made, undertaking their work with cheerfulness and humour. The project has been a long drawn out one but we are delighted with the work that Greenspan have done. Beaulieu Parish Council would be happy to recommend their work to others. Thank you all at Greenspan for the installation of our play equipment at Longdown Activity Farm. We were extremely impressed with the professional way the project was handled from start to finish – The drawings provided gave us a clear indication of how the final product would look. The installation team were very courteous and experienced. The safety of our visitors was always paramount during the installation. The play equipment installed was of a very high standard and is currently giving our visitors hours of entertainment. Without any hesitation, we will be requesting Greenspan to design and install any future developments at Longdown Activity Farm.

When we first asked Greenspan to look to develop our new outdoor play area, they came out to listen to our ideas and went away and drew up 3D drawings incorporating our thoughts along with original ideas of their own. We chose to use Greenspan because they seemed like a firm we could work with, nothing was too much trouble. The result is we have a fantastic play area called Topsy Turvey Towers which is unique to us and the build quality is second to none.

Greenspan have undertaken a number of projects in the Park including a themed play area, bespoke elevated timber boardwalk with treetop classroom, Penguin Cove refurbishment, meerkat enclosure and are currently close to completing our new walk through aviary. Whilst each project has provided its unique challenges and complications we have been very impressed with Greenspan’s ability to adapt, think outside the box and work to our (tight) deadlines and often specialist requirements. Greenspan work in well with our own site management procedures, and their staff are co-operative and willing to work alongside our own staff when required to do so.
