Yorkshire Wildlife Park adds Themed Adventure Golf Design to its Hive
Yorkshire Wildlife Park introduced an immersive indoor mini golf adventure inspired by some of the world’s most iconic landmarks. In partnership with Greenspan, the park now offers Doncaster’s only indoor adventure golf experience, giving guests the opportunity to take a trip around the world without leaving the site.
Two Courses, One Trip Around the World
At the center of the Yorkshire Hive sit two nine-hole indoor adventure golf courses, together known as Planet Putt.
- Around the World takes guests on a journey through modern, man-made landmarks, from the Taj Mahal and Big Ben to Niagara Falls and the Statue of Liberty.
- Wonders of the World travels to the ancient wonders, from the Colosseum in Rome to Egypt’s pyramids and Petra in Jordan.
Greenspan draws on fifty years of experience in designing and building leisure attractions, as demonstrated by Planet Putt. This expertise is evident throughout the course, from the immersive adventure golf design elements that bring each landmark to life, to the thoughtful layout and playability of every hole. The result is a course that is as enjoyable to play as it is to experience visually. This level of quality creates memorable experiences for groups and encourages guests to return again and again.
Activating the Whole Venue
Since opening, Planet Putt has attracted visitors from both the resort and the wildlife park. Guests who come to play are spending more time on site, naturally moving on to enjoy food, drinks, and other activities nearby. This increase in dwell time and guest spending demonstrates the value of a well-chosen anchor attraction, one addition that supports and activates the entire venue.
