Design & Master Planning

Our in-house design studio can help visualize projects and themes at an early stage of planning. We can work with you and your team to create a scheme or take on your ideas and work with them.

Clients regularly use us to value engineer their own schemes and with our vast industry knowledge and ‘can do’ attitude we are usually the first choice for their construction partner.

We also recognize the importance of making designs practical. Our studio is led by our design manager, a technical minded qualified designer who filters all concept sketches with a ‘construction practicality’ mind-set.

Our design for the visitor attraction industry usually falls into two categories: Creative and Technical.

Creative Visuals

Our talented team of artists produce stunning visuals and sketches to help demonstrate the detail of a scheme or theme. We are regularly involved in producing mood boards and, when necessary, 3D models. The work produced in this department is highly visual and great for an impact in high level presentations and master planning discussions. We also have got involved with story writing and even designing characters for clients to use with their branding.

Working Drawings

The technical design side is immensely important to ensure the success of your build. Working closely with structural engineers and building control, we produce working drawings to ensure we build to the highest standards. Our clients regularly use us to work with local authorities to carry out planning applications on their behalf. Canopies, structures, building works and surfacing changes all potentially require planning permission.

Resorts World Genting Adds Puttify to its Venue
Resorts World Genting is one of the biggest integrated resorts in the world, attracting millions of visitors annually to its theme parks, casinos, hotels, and entertainment venues. Inside First World Plaza, their newly refurbished shopping mall, they built NextGen, a gaming hall dedicated to high-tech entertainment. They brought in Greenspan to deliver a 9-hole Puttify course at its center.

Hotels and resorts are visited in groups, and rarely by groups of a single age. Children, parents, and grandparents arrive together and want something they can all do at once. Puttify gives everyone in the group a game they can play together, whether they golf every weekend or have never picked up a putter.

What makes Puttify work:

  • Automated scoring across all nine holes for smooth gameplay.
  • A three-shot format that keeps everyone engaged, from golfers to complete beginners.
  • Responsive lighting and sound that react to every shot.
  • A non-linear mini golf course layout where holes can be played in any order, so no one gets stuck and the group never stalls

Higher Throughput and Faster Return on Investment

For hotels and resorts, this is what makes Puttify worth the space it occupies. As an interactive mini golf attraction, it draws players of all ages and skill levels, so a large share of guests want to play, and it runs at about 1.5 times the throughput of standard mini golf. An attraction that pulls a broad crowd and moves them through quickly returns its investment faster, which is what puts it on the floor of a resort like Genting.
