Greenspan has recently worked with Lee Valley Park Farms in Essex to design and build an amazing sand and water play area. The ‘Dino Dig & Splash’ play area features a Fossil Dig Zone providing opportunity for families to test their archaeological skills and experience the prehistoric age as they excavate ‘ancient bones’. Other features include an elevated water pump station, water channel with humpback bridge and log crossings, and a large sand factory.
Set within a themed perimeter fence, the 15m2 space shows just what can be achieved with creative design and planning. The bespoke sand and water play zones are surrounded by beautiful planting and natural theming elements, including cobbles and boulders to provide a stimulating, attractive landscape that visitors can enjoy. There’s an opportunity to sit and share a picnic too on the rustic seating.
