Greenspan Projects is thrilled to announce the successful completion of a vibrant and innovative playground on the Utopia of the Seas. This exciting installation makes a significant contribution to Royal Caribbean’s fleet, bringing the total to an impressive nine ships.

This unique project was meticulously designed, sourced, and constructed by our expert team, ensuring compliance with the stringent safety regulations required on cruise ships. The playground is a standout feature aboard the ship, designed to inspire adventure and imagination in children of all ages.

At the heart of the playground is the iconic multilevel lighthouse structure, which challenges and entertains young adventurers as they navigate its heights before descending down their choice of two slides. Adjacent to this, a wave-like structure houses an array of climbing apparatus, encouraging physical activity and exploration. The playground’s bright colour scheme adds to the lively atmosphere, making it a visually appealing space on the ship’s deck.

The colourful nautical theme runs throughout the design, brought to life with cheerful hues and marine-inspired elements. Playful sculptures, such as a pink starfish, evoke a whimsical underwater world, perfectly complementing the ships theme. The playground also features safe and durable flooring, designed not only to add vibrant colour but also ensure the highest standards of comfort and safety for children. The use of marine-grade materials ensures the playground remains resilient against the elements, preserving its beauty and functionality over time.
