About the Project

Greenspan Projects were thrilled to partner with award-winning leisure company Aztec Adventure and Eagle One’s popular shopping destination, The Valley, on this epic fun-fuelled adventure for visitors of all ages!

Named “The Lost Valley”, this project involved creating a totally unique Aztec themed 18-hole Adventure Golf Course andHigh Rope Aerial Adventure Course which culminates in a zip wire finale.

Utilising some of the fantastic unused outdoor space in the heart of Evesham, the attraction has been built just behind The Valley Shopping Centre. This popular centre already boasts 25 shops, a fabulous garden centre, and four eateries with free parking set in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside… yet it’s now home to one of the biggest adventure attractions in the vicinity.

Visitors can now test out their putting skills on the brand-new adventure golf course which is suitable for all ages and abilities. Families, friends, team-building colleagues or anyone looking to enjoy some good competitive fun can now successfully manoeuvre around the Lost Valley Aztec Temple, wooden bridge, water features and crashed plane on this fun-filled platform… whilst admiring the skills of the adventurers up high!

The High Rope Aerial Adventure Course is a great challenge for those who love to be off the ground! Children and adults will have great fun outdoors navigating the fifteen elements, including cargo net, swingy steps, see-saw steps and various wobbly bridges climaxing with a 70-metre zip wire descent. Visitors can enjoy a bird’s eye view, up to 5 metres off the ground, of the landscaped Lost Valley including the Aztec Temple, crashed plan, the 18-hole outdoor Adventure Golf Course and an abandoned Land Rover.

With a project of this scale, it certainly takes a great deal of hard work and strong collaboration – and it has been an amazing journey to say the least. Greenspan have loved being a part of the process in bringing this attraction to life… and since launching on 1st April 2023, it certainly seems as though the only way is up for this adventure…

Commenting on the launch, Aztec Adventure’s Director, Mark Spence, said:

“Aztec Adventure are thrilled that the Easter opening weekend of The Lost Valley went well. Easter is always an exciting time as we open our Upton Warren and Lower Moor sites for the 2023 season. It was even more so with the winning of these awards and the opening of The Lost Valley. All of us at Aztec Adventure are so excited for the season ahead!”

Emily Burton, retail commercial manager at The Valley, said:

“The launch of The Lost Valley is another significant milestone in the success story of The Valley Evesham, further enhancing our existing leisure offer and adding to our distinctive mix. Now, more than ever, visitors are looking for an intergenerational outdoor memorable experience and The Lost Valley delivers it in abundance. After 18 per cent increase in footfall over the weekend compared to pre-pandemic levels, we are on track for a record-breaking Easter holiday.”
