Pencnwc Holiday Park, Adventure Golf
Pencnwc Holiday Park is situated just two miles inland from the pretty fishing village of New Quay in Wales – surrounded by harbour walls, safe beaches, rugged cliffs and secluded coves.
As a family-owned company, Pencnwc Holiday Park wanted to bring a new family-focused attraction to life to enhance their visitor offering within the perfect space in close proximity to the main leisure complex. Inspired by the neighbouring green countryside, deep blue waters and the overall “great outdoors”, Greenspan were asked to create an adventure golf course to reflect these elements in an immersive countryside style – factoring in elements for visitors from all over the UK, and beyond, to enjoy.
Our creative designers worked to bring the brief to life – which resulted in the addition of uniquely crafted sculptures around the course, as well as true to theme props including hay bales, tractor marks, farmyard tyres, a scarecrow, jump holes and a chicken coop ball collector. Running through the course is a beautiful stream, featuring a retro running water pump and surrounded by a stunning rockery, with bridges linking to the next hole.
Since opening, the park has seen an impressive throughput and has been an excellent addition to the venue. The centre’s owners are also delighted to find an increase in visitors that are travelling from much further afield to come and enjoy their attractions – placing them firmly on the map as a key point of interest within this area of Wales.
