Paradise Island Adventure Golf
Barcode Leisure complex, Plymouth
This project for Paradise Island Adventure Golf (PIAG) is located at the newly developed Barcode Leisure complex in Bretonside, Plymouth. This was the second indoor adventure golf venue that Greenspan completed for PIAG, having successfully delivered the flagship project at Rushden Lakes shopping and leisure park in Northamptonshire. Both locations have extensive amounts of amazing theming and bespoke design.
About the Course:
Within this 36-hole indoor golf experience, there are two incredible 18-hole courses, the Tiki Trail and Temple Ruins.
Players can enter the Tiki Trail through the remains of an aeroplane fuselage and follow a perilous journey through an exotic jungle whilst keeping a keen eye out for dangers that may lurk in the shadows. Those who have the courage to brave the Temple Ruins course can putt their way through the nostalgia of ancient Aztec design and crumbling ruins. Oh, and the adventure doesn’t stop there! Take on the lucky 19th bonus hole, where the perfect hole-in-one will reward you with a free game.
The courses span across 16,000 sq/ft of tropical utopia; an extensive array of tropical plants surrounds each hole, while bamboo Tiki Huts, an eerie cave, feature lighting, and sound effects all add to the dramatic atmosphere.
The course features a number of putting challenges varying in difficulty, providing entertainment and playability for all the family.
The fun doesn’t stop at the 19th Hole. Put your worries behind you at ‘The Bunker’ bar, the perfect place to socialise. Here you can feed your appetite for food and drink before or after your round.
“The process from start to finish was handled extremely professionally. From planning to the build, each step was stress-free. It was a pleasure to work with Greenspan and the work was done to the highest standards. Looking forward to working together again in the future.”
